Llanwrtyd Wells is situated on the A483, midway between the market towns of Builth Wells and Llandovery. For Sat-Nav, enter the postcode LD5 4SY.
It is an ideal centre to tour Wales; both the Pembroke coast and Snowdonia are within easy driving distance. The Wye and Elan Valleys, Devil’s Bridge and Llyn Braine Dam are all nearby.
Children will enjoy visiting Carreg Cennan castle, and the ancient gold and silver mines round about. The sea is some thirty miles away via spectacular Old Drovers Road to Tregaron.
